Advice Capability Scotland Service (ASCS) is our national disability advice service which is run on voluntary income, to continue this service’s future we must raise funds.
What better way to support ASCS than to ‘Sponsor a Book’ for our library, for yourself or that special someone!
It is important to keep information up to date; books are a valuable resource to everyone in aiding our understanding and learning of a subject or issue.
Our library is used by hundreds of people every year, and the books we buy also assist our advice workers when they are advising thousands of people who call our advice line.
Sponsoring a book is affordable for everyone. Prices range from £10 for a children’s book, up to £100 for a training resource pack. Your donation will help Capability Scotland remain at the forefront of disability information services.
In return for your donation, a bookplate acknowledging your gift will be placed in the book and your name will be added to a list of sponsors. If you prefer, you can remain anonymous. You can sponsor a book as a gift for someone else: their name will go on the bookplate as well as your own, and they will receive a certificate from Capability Scotland along with a bookmark which was designed by children at Corseford and Stanmore School.
For more information on how you can sponsor a book please contact the Fundraising Department on 0800 980 5331.
