Capability Scotland contributes to poverty debate

The Scottish Parliament recently debated Closing the Opportunity Gap. This is the Scottish Executive’s policy and programme for tackling poverty in our communities.  Capability Scotland advised MSPs that disabled people were among the poorest in our society  and called the Scottish Executive to ‘close the gap’ by resourcing a number of measures that would improve disabled people’s lives.
