Children and Young People

Capability Scotland provides services for children and young people with additional support needs and their families and carers. 

We deliver the following services for children and young people across Scotland: activities, education and learning, respite/short breaks and family support.

Young People Schools and education

Capability provides a range of education and learning services which support children and young people to make the most of their abilities and enjoy school life.

The idea for the Inclusive Play Packs came about from feedback and evidence gathered through Capability Scotland’s work with childcare providers around the country.

The Mosaic Project The Mosaic Project

The Mosaic Project is a free support service available to all families affected by childhood acquired brain injury living in Scotland.

 

Music Therapy

Children at Capability’s Westerlea Early Years Service, a learning support service for young children with additional support needs, are enjoying the benefits of Music Therapy.
