Children Respite/Short Breaks
Capability Scotland provides short break/respite packages which allow children and young people and their families to take a planned break from each other.
The respite/short breaks service covers three main areas:

Residential Respite - we offer children and young people high levels of support and care in a safe environment where they can relax and have fun. Two of our schools offer residential respite 52 weeks of the year

Holidays - Children and young people and/or their families can enjoy a holiday in our adapted chalet in Dalraddy Holiday Park in Aviemore

Family Support - respite can also be provided in the family home or in the local community which enables parents, carers and siblings to go out for a few hours, do other tasks in the home or take a break
