As well as donating online through the website, there are a number of different ways in which you can support us through donations:
Giving a regular gift helps Capability keep administration costs low. It also helps us plan for the future because we know how much money is coming in each month.
Direct Debit is a quick and convenient way to support Capability monthly, quarterly or annually. With a choice of two dates, 1st and 15th of the month, you can be in control of when you want to make payments. Direct Debit is safe and secure. Everyone who signs up is protected by the Direct Debit Guarantee.

An 'In Memoriam Tribute Fund' is a unique way of remembering a loved one. Setting up a fund in the name of the person you wish to remember is a lasting way of giving, and allows all friends, family and colleagues to be involved. Once the fund is set up contributions can be made in many different ways – a one off donation, a regular monthly or annual direct debit or maybe others would prefer to raise funds through sponsored events. Mark a special occasion such as a birthday, anniversary or wedding by asking others to donate to Capability Scotland instead of giving or receiving gifts. You can do this by:
- Creating an online donation page through the website www.justgiving.com . Click the blue "Get started" button on the right-hand side of the main page and follow the step by step instructions. It's easy. Once created send your unique link to friends and family, they can then make a donation. Justgiving is a great way of collecting donations without having to handle any money yourself. Payments come straight to us.
- Why not have a collection at your celebration? We can provide you with special donation envelopes that way you can increase your donations by collecting Gift Aid on each gift made with a declaration.
- Send a gift certificate. Let us know what you are celebrating, who the certificate is for, how much you would like to donate and we will send a gift certificate on your behalf.
Celebration giving is a fantastic way to enjoy your special event whilst supporting others.
Support us by collecting loose change within your home, office or car for Capability Scotland, and we will write to you twice a year asking you to empty your box.

Capability Scotland is always on the look-out for any new commercial premises in which to display one of our collection cans.

Festival Hotels are generously donating 50% of their room rates to Capability Scotland under a new special offer.
The offer is open to anyone accessing the special Capability Scotland room rate and is available at both the Murrayfield Hotel & Lodge and the Hudson Hotel both in Edinburgh.
