Why invest in disability equality?
Disabled people are a significant force in Scotland, both as customers and employees. We are not a marginal group - there are 1 million people in Scotland with a long term illness, health problem or disability - 1 in 5 of the population.
Disabled people in Scotland are estimated to spend over £5 billion per year, so by making your services more accessible and welcoming you will broaden your pool of potential customers. And that's good for business.
