Family Support
Capability Scotland provides a range of services which support disabled children and young people and their families. We provide flexible, individual packages of support which can be delivered both in the family home and in the local community.
We offer a number of different family support packages which meet a range of different needs. Our services have been designed to give families an opportunity to relax while their child is having fun in a safe secure environment.
The services include:

Family/Home Community Packages, this support can be provided from 1 to 24 hours at home or in the local community.

Respite/Short Breaks, we offer respite services during the week, the weekend and over holiday times within a safe secure environment and with a high standard of care

Befriending Services, this involves a young disabled person being matched with a volunteer befriender who they can share activities with both inside and outside the home.
