Contact your MP or MSP
If you feel strongly about a particular issue you can take action by contacting your local MSP or MP.
MSPs are Members of the Scottish Parliament. The Parliament is sited at Holyrood in Edinburgh. You can find out who your local MSP is on the Scottish Parliament website. MSPs are responsible for issues like health, education, transport, police liasing, social work and community care and lifelong learning enterprise
MPs are Members of the UK Parliament which is located at Westminster in London. MPs are responsible for equality law, benefits, pensions and employment.
MSPs and MPs run surgeries in their constituencies when you can go and talk to them about things that concern you. Contact your MSP for details of where and when these surgeries take place.
