Celebration Donations

There are many times in our lives that we wish to mark as a “special occasion”; whether it is a wedding or an engagement, a birthday, a christening or maybe an important anniversary you wish to remember.

You can now make it special for others too by donating to Capability Scotland instead of giving or receiving gifts.

Here’s how:

Create an on-line donation page through the website www.justgiving.com/- follow this link for step by step instructions on how to set up you own web page. Ask friends and family to log on and give a donation on your behalf.

Send a gift certificate – let us know what kind of celebration the gift is for, how much you would like to donate and we will look after the rest. Wedding and Civil Partnership Lists - Simply ask your friends and family to donate instead of or alongside a traditional Gift List; how you choose to do this is up to you. Create an online donation page using www.justgiving.com/ ; Send Gift Envelopes with your invitations or include them with reception place settings; Invite guests to put money in a bucket as they leave your reception; Ask your friends and family to send a cheque in the post. In Memoriam Tribute Funds

An 'In Memoriam Tribute Fund' is a unique way of remembering a loved one. Setting up a fund in the name of the person you wish to remember is a lasting way of giving, and allows all friends, family and colleagues to be involved. Once the fund is set up contributions can be made in many different ways – a one off donation, a regular monthly or annual direct debit or maybe others would prefer to raise funds through sponsored events. All money raised in the name of your loved one would be put to work in the best possible way helping to support children and adults living with disabilities across Scotland.
