Within Capability, our National User Group (NUG) represents everyone we support ensuring that opinions are raised with Capability's top management and governing board. The Group is made up of people that use Capability services across Scotland. All of the people on the group have experience of disability campaigning work.
The group gets involved in National issues that affect disabled people. They attend conferences and give their views. They also look at Capability too. We work with the group to examine company policies and procedures, particularly those concerning the people who use our services. Their work is also conveyed through a magazine 'CAN', written by the people we support for the people we support.
