I am Me

Service users from West Lane Gardens and Whitehaugh recently attended 'I Am Me Keep Safe Ambassador Training'.   I Am Me is a charity developed in Renfrewshire to raise awareness of Disability Hate Crime.  The role of a Keep Safe Ambassador is to understand how to recognise and report hate crime, to keep themselves safe and promote this to others.

Derek Murney - "it was pure brilliant.  It was very educational. I liked going to it and representing the centre and meeting people from different organisations.  I am now a Keep Safe Ambassador.

Robbie Lee - "I enjoyed the training course, I am very proud to wear my Ambassador badge.

Rachel Bogle -" I feel proud to be an Ambassador for West Lane Gardens, the training course was fun"

Laura Hamilton - "I really enjoyed the course"
