Our work with older people

Capability Scotland provides flexible services for older people with a range of disabilities including physical and/or learning disabilities and mental health issues. 

We provide the following services for older people across Scotland: Community living services, residential services, respite/short breaks and day services.

 

Wishaw Supported Living Service

Support from Capability's Wishaw Supported Living Service made it possible for Patricia to make the move from long term hospital care into her own home.  The service supports disabled adults to live in their own homes in North Lanarkshire.

Pittenweem Arts Festival

Every summer artists at Capability Scotland’s Upper Springland service in Perth exhibit at a community arts festival.

i never thought I would be able to have my own house but the staff at Capability have worked with me to transform my expectations of what is possible.  I love having my own space and feeling part of the local community.
