Ben Nevis Challenge 2008
The Ben Nevis 2008 event, the first of its kind led by
wheelchair users, was the ultimate team challenge with a gruelling
five mile hike to the summit at 4,400ft.
Eight teams made the ascent battling across treacherous terrain,
avoiding sheer drops and negotiating narrow stony paths.
The event was a resounding success, challenging prejudice,
overturning stereotypes and raising over £100,000 for
Capability and Scope.
