Capability Scotland campaigns with, and provides education, employment and care services for more than 1,000 disabled children and adults across Scotland. The workforce comprises of a wide variety of roles including Allied Health professionals, Teachers, Care and Support staff.

About the role

CLS Edinburgh provides support to adults with disabilities living in their own homes within the community. We work closely with service users, their friends, families, carers and professionals to enable access to community based facilities and services. We strive to enhance service users' lives and assist people to become participating, valued members of the community.

Experience/Qualifications/Key Skills

The successful candidate should possess a care related SVQ level 2 or equivalent or have the ability and willingness to achieve this within a given timescale. You must have excellent communication skills and an ability to work on own initiative. You should demonstrate a commitment to and an understanding of social inclusion as well as the values associated with promoting independence.

A full, clean driving license is desirable for this position.
