Community Living Services South and West support adults with various disabilities and support needs. Each care package is unique and designed to meet the specific needs and desires of each customer. There is the potential for service expansion in the future.

We are currently looking to recruit a Community Living Assistant to support customers with tasks associated with day-to-day living. You will be required to provide personal care (including intimate care) and support customers with aspects of their general welfare, manual-handling, and administering medication may be required and training will be provided.

The role will involve lone working and this role may include sleepovers. Up to 30 hours are available with the opportunity to work additional hours.

Key Requirements

  • Experience of working in a similar role and environment
  • Willingness to undertake any personal development opportunities.
  • A care related SVQ Level 2/3 (or the willingness to gain this qualification in a given timescale).
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team and on your own initiative.
  • Full Driving Licence* (we will consider alternative arrangements that achieve the same outcomes for candidates that have a disability that prevents them from having a driving licence)
  • Able and willing to work flexible shifts including nightshifts and weekends.
