Our Riccarton Hub is based on the Heriot-Watt Edinburgh campus.

We're easy to get to by bus. You can travel on Lothian Bus services 25, 34, 35, 45, and 63. There's also plenty of on-site parking.

Do you want to make a real difference to people's lives?

We are looking for Community Living Assistants to support our customers between Monday and Friday, during the day. We're also paying a generous £9.35 per hour. As well as planning, supporting and leading activities, you will also provide personal care, mealtime assistance, and medication administration - all of which we'll fully train you to do competently, supporting you each step of the way.

We will also fund you through your SVQ 3 qualification when it is time to register with the SSSC - a qualification that is yours for life.

What we're looking for

  • Experience is beneficial but we want to see passion, enthusiasm, and new ideas; not necessarily years of service - however, if you have both then great!
  • Willingness to undertake personal development opportunities
  • A care related SVQ Level 3 or willingness to complete this
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team and on your own initiative.
  • A driving licence is useful but not required
