About Our Service

Community Living Services South and West support adults with various disabilities and support needs throughout Glasgow and Renfrewshire. Each care package is unique and designed to meet the specific needs and desires of each customer. There is the potential for service expansion in the future

Do you want to make a real difference to people's lives?

We are currently looking to recruit Community Living Assistants to support customers with tasks associated with day-to-day living. You will assist the individual to access community based activities and resources. You will be required to provide personal care (including intimate care) and support customers with aspects of their general welfare. The role involves a degree of physical activity providing physical support to our customers, health related practices such as medication administration mealtime assistance and lone working.

We have various hours available and shifts include days, evenings, weekends, nightshifts, wakened nights and sleepovers.

Key Requirements

  • Experience of working in a similar role and environment
  • Willingness to undertake any personal development opportunities
  • A care related SVQ Level 3 (or the willingness to gain this qualification in a given timescale).
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team and on your own initiative
  • Full Driving Licence* (we will consider alternative arrangements that achieve the same outcomes for candidates that have a disability that prevents them from having a driving licence)
  • Able and willing to work flexible shifts including weekends
