Employment Services provide support to customers with disabilities and long term health conditions to secure and sustain employment as well as progression into further education and training.

Do you want to make a real difference to people's lives?

We are currently looking to recruit an Employment Adviser to support the management team in the day to day delivery of our Progress Fife employment programme. Reporting to the Area Manager, you will be responsible for supporting people with disabilities and health conditions progress into work, further education or accredited training whilst developing innovative marketing practices and strategies to increase employment opportunities for the clients we work with.

You will be required to develop partnerships with employers and external agencies to promote the role of the department and the services that are provided, whilst achieving set monthly sustainable job entry targets, to stringent audit requirements.

Key requirements

  • Previous experience of employability programmes is essential
  • Comfortable working with a caseload of customers to tight targets and timescales
  • Experience achieving contractual compliance and quality standards
  • Experience negotiating work experience placements and employment opportunities
  • A full clean driving licence and access to a car are essential due to the nature of the wide geographical area associated with this role
