The alliances below represent some of those most important to
Capability Scotland in its work providing services for, and
campaigning with, disabled people across Scotland.
Scope and Capability Scotland both grew out of an expertise in Cerebral Palsy and continue to collaborate, with Scope working in England and Wales and Capability in Scotland.
DAS is a strategic alliance of Scotland's major disability organisations, including Capability Scotland, Enable Scotland, RNIB, RNID, SAMH and Sense Scotland.

As a founding member of SCLD we aim to challenge discrimination and to develop and share good practice around people with learning disabilities.
As part of FSDC, Capability Scotland aims to help improve the short breaks, transition services, childcare and education provided for disabled children
Capability Scotland aims to raise awareness of the issues affecting disabled parents, and the parents of disabled children, through PAS which offers support to children and families.
Through our membership of CCPS Capability Scotland aims to ensure the voluntary sector achieves the recognition it deserves in providing quality services to disabled people.
Capability Scotland is a member of the Scottish Campaign on Welfare Reform (SCoWR), a unique coalition of over sixty organisations which has been campaigning since 2006 for a better welfare benefits system.
