Did you know that the average bag raises £20 and if you sign up to Gift Aid that makes it £25? £25 can go a long way.

Signing up to Gift Aid is easy, you can sign up in store or print off the declaration form and take it in with your next donation. You only have to do this once and this will apply to all future donations you make unless you inform us otherwise. When you hand in your next donation  just give your name and we can look you up on our new system.

What is Gift Aid?

Gift Aid is a scheme introduced by HM Revenue & Customs, which allows us to claim back the basic rate tax you have already paid as a UK tax payer.

How does it work?

Our till system will generate a sticker with your donor ID number which is added to the price tag of your donation. When this is sold it will be flagged up as an item on which Gift Aid can be claimed.

Please note we can only process donations for Gift Aid that are handed in to our staff/volunteers. This is because we need to link your name to your donations.

When your items are sold we will write to you and let you know how much your donations have helped raise.  This is to confirm that you are happy for us to treat the money as a Gift Aid donation.

Please read the terms and conditions before you sign up.

*Please check with your local shop to see if they accept furniture.
