About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed individual to work closely with service management to help them get the best out of their teams and address people issues in a timely and proactive manner.

The Human Resources department is a key strategic partner which aims to support managers to ensure the smooth running of our services. As part of the team the successful applicant will have the opportunity to make a real difference.

What will you do?

  • Provide advice, support and guidance on discipline, grievance and absence
  • Update policies, procedures, and template documents to take account of legislative changes and best practice
  • Roll out processes and associated changes across the services to ensure consistency of approach and application
  • Work closely with managers to ensure the best people are recruited
  • Ensure that we are sharing good practice and addressing any work performance issues promptly
  • Analyse monthly reports and work with management to make improvements.
