We are seeking an enthusiastic, energetic and motivated Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic and supportive multi-disciplinary team providing care, support and education to children and young people within the Corseford School campus.

Key Requirements

You will have a degree/diploma in Occupational Therapy and will be registered with the Health Care & Professions Council (HCPC). You will have proven post-qualification experience and/or training of working with children, young people and/or adults with complex health needs.

You will have a holistic approach and proven skills in:

  • Being responsible for a designated specialist therapy caseload incorporating assessment, diagnosis and treatment to establish and meet the well-being needs of children and young people.
  • Working and communicating effectively, within a multi-professional setting to ensure co-ordinated care for children and young people.
  • Providing advice, supervision and clinical support to therapists, education staff, students and support workers.
  • Participating in regular supervision and continual professional development opportunities and maintain a high standard of clinical practice.
  • Proactively being involved in service development, audit and research opportunities to drive best practice in line with the Children and Young Person Act (2014).
