Fife Service supports adults 24/7 living in shared or single tenancy's in the Fife area. Our aim is to enable people to achieve the level of independence they are looking for and to lead fulfilling lives. Each care package is unique and designed to meet the specific needs and desires of each customer. Our work is to offer support to people to live happy, fulfilled and successful lives, this involves giving help with whatever is required to achieve this. We offer a range of support including practical, personal and emotional support to meet a variety of needs.

Job Role and Responsibilities

We are currently looking to recruit a Team Leader to support the Service Manager in the operation of our Fife Service. You will be required to co-ordinate and supervise a team of support staff in delivering a high standard of social care practice using a person-centred approach that reflects individual customer's needs wants and aspirations. Support for this role will be provided from the Service Manager and current Team Leaders in Fife.

A key part of this role is to coach, monitor, mentor and develop the skill base within the staff team, you will do this by displaying Leadership skills such as role modelling, decision making, being an effective communicator, having a positive attitude, commitment and confidence in the role.  You may also be required from time to time to deliver direct support to our customers. Supervision duties and rota management are also required. Supporting staff to complete on line training and mandatory training will also be part of this role

Key Requirements

  • Previous experience in a supervisory/management role is preferred
  • Care related SVQ Level 4 or equivalent or have the ability and willingness to achieve this qualification
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Full Driving Licence and access to a vehicle(we will consider alternative arrangements that achieve the same outcomes for candidates that have a disability that prevents them from having a driving licence).
