CPMS, a local building firm, generously gave their time and experience in helping improve the grounds at our Corseford School.

CPMS Corseford

For many years, Corseford School has had an outhouse building that was not used. Despite this, the school has spent funds ensuring it was safe and up to scratch. We discussed with the builders at Commericial Property Maintenance Services (http://cpms.uk.com) on how much this would be to get removed.

When the builders came to review the cost, they very kindly offered to remove the outhouse free of charge.

Not only did they do this work for us for free but they came in during their own time, outside of their business hours, to do the work. The team from CPMS spent some time with our learners at Corseford, letting them try on their hard hats and high-vis vests - making some budding young builders to be.

To say thanks to the team at CPMS, our learners created a special artwork piece (pictured) which we gifted to CPMS.

Erica Dennies, our Depute Head, said "We're so grateful for the support we received. The guys were lovely and spent loads of time with the children. They were overjoyed and made a painting for them to say thank you for all their help".

CPMS Director, Robert Brown, mentioned "we were delighted to be involved with this project. It was important to carry out the work with minimum disruption to the school, that is why we decided that a weekend would be the best time."

Fantastic work from CPMS, thank you from everyone at Capability Scotland for your generosity and kindness - top marks from our school!
