Current research

Capability Scotland's vision is to be a major ally in supporting disabled people to have full equality of opportunity and participation as citizens.  Our research plays a key role in this.

People with cerebral palsy experience the effects of ageing earlier and more dramatically than people without a physical impairment. Capability Scotland and Bobath Scotland are conducting research to create a map of therapy provision across Scotland.

Capability Scotland and the Centre for Research on Families and Relationships (CRFR) are working together on an action research project to find out what empowers disabled children and young people to make their own decisions.
