Capability’s greatest asset is its people. Over the past year we have been focusing on strategies that will ensure our people are supported from their first day as part of the organisation until their last.

We offer challenging and rewarding jobs where you can make a real difference to the lives of people who live with a disability and attain a better understanding of the challenges that are faced by them.   Many of our staff find their jobs rewarding and have provided and insight into what working for Capability means to them.

Although we predominately offer careers in care and community support services; other opportunities are available in Finance, Policy development, Campaigning, Fundraising, IT, Marketing, Teaching to name but a few!  We look forward to meeting people from a diverse background and value life experience as well as appropriate qualifications for our jobs.

We believe it is crucial that staff are not only given training which supports their development within their current role but that individual competence in an existing role is recognised and staff are then offered training which will help them to progress their careers even further.
