About Our Service

Upper Springland aims to enable people with a range of disabilities to lead their lives to the full by accessing specialist facilities and services whilst also using community facilities where appropriate. The service provides 24/7 support to the customer who live on site.

We are currently looking to recruit a Catering Assistant to assist in preparing and serving food to pupils. You will be required to clean and maintain the work, kitchen and dining areas. You must at all times maintain excellent standards of hygiene and ensure that sufficient stock levels are maintained. The role also involves some lone working.

Key Requirements

  • Experience of working in a similar role and environment
  • Possess current Elementary Food Hygiene Certificate or willingness to undertake any personal development opportunities.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and on your own initiative
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
